Join us on Saturday, August 17th from 10 am – 2 pm for The Clean Water Festival at The Landing in downtown Fort Walton Beach. The intent of the event is to educate the public on our different water resources and they ways in which we can protect and conserve them.
Our Clean Water Festival vendors work to protect, conserve, and utilize our water resources. There will be live music and food trucks.
We are also including the arts into the event. We had a poetry and short story contest (closed June 30th). All the pieces had to be water related. Winners will be given a monetary prize and will have the opportunity to read their piece at the event. We are now currently hosting a photo contest until July 31st where folks can be vote on line for their favorite piece and the winner will be announced at the Festival and will receive a $50 gift card.
There is no fee for attendees. This is a family friendly event.
